UC知道一个句子结构不是很清楚，麻烦给讲讲

我就不太理解这种形式的句子，impossible算什么，形容词修饰it么？
it 又算什么？形式宾语？真正的宾语用不定式to... 代替？
另外再看这句
we made it a rule to get exercises every morning.
上句是用impossible修饰it ，这句用 a rule 修饰it，这个修饰it的词 有什么要求么？

这里有两种结构
第一种I consider it impossible to complete the work before dark
是consider it +形容词 to do sth.
I --主语
consider--谓语
it--形式宾语
impossible--宾语补足语
to complete the work before dark
是真正的宾语
we made it a rule to get exercises every morning.
这里是make it +名词+to do sth
基本结构跟上面一样，就是这里的宾语补足语是名词a rule
I consider it impossible to complete the work before dark.
consider ... +adj 认为怎么怎么
it 形式宾语。就如It‘s impossible to complete the work before dark.
第二句 的it指的是后面的 to get exercises every morning
it没什么意思在这2句里，就是为了用consider ... +adj 这个句型而为了不使句子冗长。所以用it代替。很自然的，多说口语就会了。
都是it做形式宾语啦，而后面的那种我们通常会记成一个固定的用法。
