世界上那个学校的化学系最好？

目前来说，加州理工学院, Caltech. 化学系不大，却同时三位诺贝尔奖得主共事，还有几位重磅级人物，比如 Jacqueline K. Barton，John E. Bercaw，William A. Goddard III，Harry B. Gray，Douglas C. Rees，Brian M. Stoltz，David A. Tirrell，等等。37位教授中14位是美国科学院和或者工程院院士。钱学森是加州理工毕业的。加州理工的培养人才的目标是培养大师级人物，不是培养工程师。

化学至少也要分无机化学和有机化学吧，无机化学里面还有分析化学之类的，有机化学还和生物产生了生物化学，更何况这种学科还要看各个学校是属于工科还是理科，哪有那么简单的分法？
