ISLE OF SKYE 12 Years Old blend has its origins in that most celebrated of scottish Islands:Skye,home of clan Macleod.Its character is derived from an original 19th century recipe which contains a unique selection of the finest Island and Speyside dingle malt whiskies.
Each of the constituent whiskies in the blend is aged in oak casks for at least twelve years before being blended and rerurned to cask to "marry" prior to bottling.This dedication to quality has resulted in a distinctive soft mellow flavour only available in deluxe whiskies.
