第一题：
resemble的用法类似appear和seem， 比如形如 resemble sth.
词典说的没错，应该是说不用is resembling....这种形式，而不是说resemble没有ing的形式，比如本句and resembling就是现在分词作伴随成分，不是谓语，这里不是is resembling这种形式的变体。明白否？
第二题：
to prevent
就是不定式表目的啊，相当于so as to 啊！
E项：it肯定是不可以啊，至少应该是复数吧！
