To inhibit someone from doing something means to prevent them from doing it, although they want to do it or should be able to do it.

It could inhibit the poor from getting the medical care they need...

restrain
If you restrain someone, you stop them from doing what they intended or wanted to do, usually by using your physical strength.

例句:Wally gripped my arm, partly to restrain me and partly to reassure me...

constrain:
To constrain someone or something means to limit their development or force them to behave in a particular way. (FORMAL)

例句:Women are too often constrained by family commitments and by low expectations...

eg.A substance used to kill or inhibit the growth of algae.

Constrain表示力劝,强迫,常用于constrain sb. to do sth.;
eg.She trie
