UC知道强调句 定语从句

看这两条题目：
1、选A
——I can't find Mr Smith.Where did you meet him this morning?
——It was in the hotel ______ he stayed.
A、where B、that
2、选A
——Where did you find my missing pen?
——It was in the corner of the room _____ you had laid it.
A、where B、that
为什么？就题论题！

这个嘛，要看意思哦，不是语法对了就完事！！！！
1.---你在哪看见他的？
---在他待的旅馆里。 要是B的话就是强调句型 ，意思就是 ： 他正是待 在那个旅馆的
2.----你在哪找到我的笔的？
----在你丢掉它的那个房间的角落。要是B的话也是强调句型，意思是： 你正是在那个房间丢失笔的。
俩处where 都是引导地点状语从句。
这个解释是对的，我高中时老师说过···
1.定从 HOTEL是地点.用WHERE
2.判断强调句的方法就是去掉强调成分句子仍旧成立.
你试下去掉IT WAS THAT 句子意思不变.
记得老师说过，如果是强调句的话，如果将 it is/was that 去掉，还是完整的部分，那就是强调句。
对于1，就可以变成 He stayed in the hotel.而为什么是Where 不是That呢？这就要等待高人的出现了。
2 同样去掉it was +空格，你会发现 in the corner of the room 做地点状语
两个句子都是由where这个关系副词引导的定语从句，和强调无关。
不是强调句，也不是定语从句，是地点状语从句。
hotel是地点
the corner of the room 也是地点
