both和all有什么区别?

both表都,一起的意思,一般用法是both....and...表2者之间
all表所有,都,一起,与both不同的是,这个是表2者以上的时候用

Both Tom and Lucy are students.他俩都是学生
All of them are students.他们那群>=3都是学生.

all ,both,表示“都”,“全部”.
(1) both指两个人或物,而all指三个以上的人或物,在句中都可作主语、宾语、表语、同位语或定语.

(2) both和all都可直接修饰名词；名词前如有限定词时,其前只能用both of或all of.
