只能用that的几种情况
1.是先行词受序数词或形容词的最高级或last.only.little.few.等修饰时
例：1.This is the best that has been used against air pollution in cities.
2.English is the most difficult subject that you will learn during these year.
3.He is last person that I want to see.
2.主句中已有疑问句时
例：Which is the bike that you lost.
3.先行词既有表示人又有表示物的词
例：The bike and its rider that had run over an old man were taken to the police station.
4.先行词是all.everything.nothing.something.little. much.none.the one等不定代词。
例：1.You should hand in all that you have.
2.Li Ming is the only one that got full marks in our class.
3.Li Ming is one of the students that want to be teacher in our class.
5.有两个定语从句，其中一个关系代词已用which，另外一个宜用that
例：Edison built up a factory which produced things that had never been seen before.
