就是这句了！我想问问是什么意思，还有for a day和from Australia做什么语、修饰谁。
还有：Early in the morning和later in the morning是什么意思？
是不是in the morning做定语呢？
我只是为了省力气不打后面的了，我知道Early in the morning一定是修饰谓语做状语，但是它是从句还是介词还是只是一个词？

我是这么理解的 from Australia 做状语修饰 arrived ；for a day 表目的做目的状语说明 arrived 的目的。
Early in the morning和later in the morning 清早 和 早上晚点 我觉得把他们都理解为状语好些 他们是并列的 都做时间状语
作定语太牵强的 毕竟Early是形容词
一般状语才能修饰形容词。当然啊是形容词做状语啊 当然理解为副词做状语也可以。
Later someone asked the violinist why he didn’t take the lottery ticket to pay the tuition 这是ask sb sth (why he didn’t take the lottery ticket to pay the tuition就是一句话做宾语 所以是宾语从句撒)
多说几句 学英语 语法固然重要 但语言是比较或的东西 该深究的深究 不该的深究也没用 反而使自己迷糊 毕竟语言发展的的趋势是 实用简单 而 目的在于 使用方便啊！
我以前也爱钻语法 但老师说要学活一点啊……
