B和C之后都应该接一个完整的从句
而a quarrel between the husband and wife 只是一个名词短语，实际上说的就是there seemed to be a quarrel
husband and wife 加在quarrel 后面只是对其的一个补充说明，说明是在谁和谁之间的吵架

there be结构怎么能少be呢？其他的不同，与there脱节。

只能说it seems as if/that

应该改为There seemed或者There as if,因为seem和as if都有好像、似乎的意思，放在一起就重复了。
