有这样一句话“other crirics have attacked The Old Man and the Sea as "imitation Hemingway" and find fault with the author's departure from the uncompromising realism with which he made his name.”
老人与海 是赝品？？ 不是海明威写的？？

Imitation Hemingway 是指“模仿海明威”，尤指Imitation Hemingway Contest（模仿海明威比赛），每年都吸引很多作者，带来好几百篇参赛作品，藉仿效这位名家的鲜明文风，来向他致敬。
这句话的意思是：
其他的批评家攻击老人与海是模仿海明威的作品（即赝品），他们找到了作者的毛病——违背了海明威藉以成名的“毫不妥协的现实主义”。
