first i have to say,i am not a prefessional student major in english,i'm still at high school now.so i can just answer some of your question briefly.
3.language is used to communicate for it's first function,and that's why we speak to each other as a communication.writing is another way of communication though,speaking is more direct.
4.a way of communication,a way of expressing people's thoughts,a way of recording civilization.
5.@the meaning expressed by one language won't change even it's in anpther language.
@language is a thing that won't lose it's charming glamour which showed through it's pronuciation,grammar and deep meanings even it has a stupid name.
