番禺宝墨园位于广州市番禺沙湾镇紫坭村，初建于清末，占地五亩，毁于20世纪50年代。1995年重建，历时6载，扩至100余亩，是一所集清宫文化、岭南古建筑、岭南园林艺术、珠三角水乡特色于一体的园艺艺术公园。
宝墨园内溪水环绕，绿树葱葱，建筑、园林、山水、石桥等布局合理，和谐自然，体现了中国天人合一的人文理念。园内亭台楼阁错落有致，雕梁画栋美不胜收，陶塑、瓷塑、砖雕、灰塑、石刻、木雕等艺术精品琳琅满目，其中也不乏惊世之作。《吐艳和鸣壁》被上海大世界吉尼斯总部认定为“最大的砖雕作品”，工艺精湛，令人感叹我国砖雕工艺的至高境界。巨幅瓷塑壁画《清明上河图》，恢弘夺目，又让人思忆起我国古代盛世的壮丽图景。
番禺宝墨园内，绿意盎然，水景可谓一绝。荔景湾、清平湖、宝墨湖与千米长河贯通合抱，水清如镜，涓流不息，另有30多座石桥，横跨旖旎河湖之上。若驾画舫轻舟，仿佛置身于蓬莱仙岛之中。湖面上，青水澜澜；湖周围，绿柳侵烟；锦鲤千千红浪涌，杨柳依依惹人怜。此外，紫竹园里的紫竹溪，还专供小孩玩水观鱼，更是儿童的欢乐天地。
宝墨园内的景观主要有：宝墨堂、治本堂、清心亭、紫洞舫、仰廉桥、龙图馆、千象回廊等。这些景观嵌于千年罗汉松、九里香、银杏树、玉堂春等绿树之中，尤其显得生机盎然，令人倍感舒心。
