说东西在墙上是用ont he wall还是in the wall?

如果东西在墙上，即紧贴着墙壁，用on the wall，如果东西被镶在墙内就用in the wall

我觉得用on不论是挂还是嵌
因为不属于墙的东西就不能用in，像用hole就可以用in
而不属于墙的东西只能说on
和on the tree，in the tree一个道理
苹果在树上用in
人在树上用on

on the wall 在墙上
in the wall 在墙的里面（显然不会吧）

on the wall是指在墙的表面
in the wall是指在墙的里面

如果是沾、挂、放在墙上就用on
钉、嵌在墙里就用in

挂的就用on，嵌在墙上就用in.
