However 17-year-old Zac Sunderland recently became the youngest person in history to sail around the world alone.
Zac grew up in Southern California,US.A year and a half ago,he had a dream to sail around the world. To make his dream come true, Zac used the money he had earned from summer jobs and bought himself a sail-boat. He named his boat Intrepid.
His parents had hoped he would find something that would create a fire in him, a passion that would direct him away from all the bad things in society.But even they were surprised by his dreams.
On June 14,2008,Zac left the port of Marina del Rey and headed west. He celebrated his 17th birthday on November 29 while off the cape of Good Hope in Africa!
It was on July 16,2009 that the teenager finally returned back
Well,we do the same thing everyday.Go to school,do the homework,play games and something that we all have to do.Whereas,is it something you want? To tell the truth,we have no choice but to comply with my parents' wish.And we have own dream ,but sometimes we cannot bring it into practice.when I have read this article,what I catch from it is to follow your dream bravely.Do what you want to do with the right motivation and the right ambition.Come on !
