年龄老用old;eld是指辈份的大也就是老。这题考的含有近意词的比较

brother：“兄弟”，在表示“哥哥”时固定短语“elder brother”
old：“年长的，年老的”在比较岁数时用“older”，切记切记！

My e(lder )brother is two years older than me.
我哥哥比我大两岁.
elder n.年长者, 老人, 父辈 adj.年长的, 资格老的
一般用于同一家庭的兄弟姐妹之间年龄较大者,不用older.
