One of the differences between China and the United States is the medical insurance that is provided by the companies where you work. How many people have medical insurances or how many companies that people work at will provide the medical insurances? In China, there are a few people have medical insurances. Even though they are employees in one of the companies, they won’t be provided medical insurances. According to the article “Private Payers and Insurance Companies” about 44.8% of urban people and 79.1% of rural people have no medical insurance. Even though they work at full time job or work in big company, that the employer would not buy the medical insurance to the employees. Because they either can not afford to buy medical insurance or do not understand the value of medical insurance; therefore, they would not buy the medical insurance. If they work at government department, such as teacher, the government will provide the medical insurance for the teacher. In contrast to Chin

仅供参考,我也是只菜鸟……
1、they won't be provided with medical insurances(这里前后两句表意不太连贯,前一句疑为“there are only a few people ”或“there are few people”。)
2、"that the employer"的that去掉
3、"either……or”何不改成"neither……nor”?不用那么多not。后面的therefore去掉。
4、teacher一句表意不清,teacher不是government department的人员吧(充其量算事业单位),不如直接写official。(Only the people who work as government officials have medical insurances provided by the government.)
5、in contrast, a lot of people in the US have medical insurance.
6、according后面的that去掉,后半句好像应该是the health insurance paid by the employers for their employees are rising,不太明白这句的意思。
7、work as full-time workers,或者work at full-time jobs.我也不太确定。后面的that去掉,“to their employees”也去掉。
8、下一句的because of去掉,expansive疑为expensive。
9、they will spend a lot of money on medicine(或medical treatment,或health care).不用这么麻烦。
另外,insurance什么时候单数什么时候复数我记不清了……
