There was a little girl who had a little curl.....
Fourteen months after going through the process of Japanese Straightening, my hair is finally long enough that I can wear it curly again! I went in on Friday afternoon and had it cut just above my shoulders (I’ve now had it cut a total of 5 inches since July!). The curl is still somewhat uneven (especially since the hair that’s come in since I’ve been pregnant is much looser than my original curl). The ends still have some of the relaxer in them as well – but overall, it looks okay. I think I’m going back today to have some layers put in it. My stylist urged against me doing anything too drastic while I’m pregnant – I think he was afraid I would go hormonal on him. But the simplicity of being able to wear it curly rather than spend 45 minutes a day drying it, makes me so happy! I couldn’t imagine trying to dry my hair straight day-to-day with an infant. It’s actually kind of funny because I’ve forgotten how to style it
