1.rather的词性是副词，可以修饰形容词、副词本身，也可以修饰它们的比较级。
The book is rather long. 修饰形容词long
You've done rather badly in the test. 修饰副词badly
This hotel is rather more expensive than that. 这家旅馆的收费比那家贵得多.
修饰形容词expensive的比较级
She drives rather faster than she ought. 她开车的速度比她正常的速度快多了.
修饰副词fast的比较级
quite一般不用来修饰比较级，但有一个特例，即quite better（指身体情况）。
a little 后面跟名词，一点什么什么。。。
very 后也不跟比较级，跟形容词。
所以从这四个选项上看，只有A能跟这样的比较级了。
