When we utter “seven headmasters”, the “n” in “seven”, which is normally an alveolar nasal, is actually pronounced /η/, a velar nasal. Use your own language to explain why.

还实际读作 /η/ 捏!!!

这是书上写的? 纯属胡说八道嘛
seven 里的 n 啥时候读 /η/ 了?
就算 seven headmasters 也不会读成 /η/ 呀
(倒是 seven masters 有可能会读成后鼻音)
要哪个老外这么读 我绝对会当面嘲笑他 “难听死了”

补充：
刚才又研究了一下 我觉得单词 in 念后鼻音的几率较大一些
特别是其后有元音或阻塞气流的辅音时 用美式口音念就会念成 /η/
