七月十五放荷灯

锦秋湖居民有七月十五放荷灯的风习，相传是为了纪念教民稼穑的神农。

荷灯有用荷花瓣做成的，也有用纸扎制的，灯盏里装上蘸油的花芯子，点燃了，放在水中，能够顺水飘走，颜色有白、粉、红、绿、紫，绚丽斑烂，每个灯的样子都很独特，有荷花骨朵儿灯、含苞待放灯、正在开放的莲灯、莲瓣全张灯、哪吒闹海荷灯、凌波仙子舞长袖荷灯种种。

放灯以前举行简短仪式，放灯时锣鼓喧天，鞭炮齐鸣，人声鼎沸，一片欢腾。

荷灯放出，照得湖中闪闪烁烁，别有一番诗情画意。
