我在高一课本中碰上两个问题：1，go out与go outing的区别？
2,有一个关于间接引语要变成直接引语的问题。
间接引语:She said that she would try to finish reading the book by the end of this week.
直接引语:She said:"I will try to finish reading the book by the end of that week."
上面的直接引语是我的答案，但是老师的答案是:
She said:"I will try to finish reading the book by the end of this week."
为什么间接引语中[By the end of this week]改成直接引语时不能变成[By the end of that week]?

2. 熄灭
His cigarette has gone out.
他的香烟灭了。
3. 过时
This method went out long ago.
这种方法早就过时了。
4. 过完
The year went out slowly.
这一年慢慢过去了。
go outing没找到解释
因为是将来时，所以要用this week
