有一个男孩很喜欢到广场去喂鸽子。每次他到广场上，鸽子们都会飞到男孩身边，甚至飞到他肩膀上和手掌上。
有一天， 美术老师对男孩说：“你能带一只鸽子到课堂上来吗?我们要学画鸽子。”男孩爽快地答应了，第二天他抓回一只鸽子。
然而当男孩将它放飞到广场时，那一群鸽子用惊惧的眼神盯着他，再也没有鸽子愿意飞到他身边了。
只是一次背弃，男孩便失去了一群亲密的朋友。相互间的信任是无价的，建立起信任需要花费很大的力气，破坏信任却只是一刹那的事情。
