他在讲话中指出： 日本应该处理历史遗留问题， 并始终坚持一个中国的原则。中日两国都应该拓展在贸易、投资和技术领域的交流，并且促进在能源、环境保护、信息技术和经济方面的合作。 我们都应该发展两国政府的政党、社会组织机构、文化团体和青年团体之间的交流与合作。还应该加强在地区问题和跨国问题上的合作与沟通。
