我不认为她会买旧衣服或空瓶子之类的旧东西。
我的一个网友译为I don't think that she would buy anything such as old clothes and empty bottles .或者I don't think that she would buy such things as old clothes and empty bottles .
这句话中的anything是一切东西的意思，要不要换成something? 这两种译法对吗？

someting和anyting这种不定代词有时候会让我们很头疼，但是我可以告诉你
前者用在肯定句中，后者用在否定句和疑问句中，但是有时在疑问句中也用前者，表示的是问的人想让对方的回答是肯定的。例如
Do you want someting to eat ?
yes ,I do .

在这句话里something and anything可以互换，因为这句话的回答是肯定的。在英语句中，如果提问者希望回答是肯定的或句子本身描述的是客观事实，那么在问句中用something.
否定句中something好像要换成anything的。
