UC知道有意思的英语智力题

最近在看NEPCS的题,有一道英语的智力题(应该是脑筋急转弯之类的)虽然给了答案,可还是不明白.希望高手解释一下!

A:He didn't give a hoot!
Q:Why do fish live in salt water?
A:Because pepper makes them sneeze!
Q:What do dogs eat at the cinema?
A:Pup-corn!(爆米花?)
Q:Why are fish so smart?
A:Because they live in schools!
Q:What is a snake's favourite subject?
A:Hiss-tory!

就是谐音近意俏皮话
hoot是猫头鹰的叫声 not give a hoot也表示不在乎不感兴趣的意思
为什么鱼生在咸水 salt 也表示盐 那时因为pepper让他们打喷嚏所以只能生在盐水里了
pup-corn谐音pop-corn 不过pup=puppy 表示小狗的意思
school除了学校 还表示鱼群 a school of fish
hiss 表示蛇的咝咝叫声 故意把history 写成hisstory 谐音
