此次活动是为了贯彻落实胡锦涛总书记提出的新形势下发展两岸关系的四点原则，加深两岸同胞的相会理解和认识，增进彼此的友谊和感情，促进两岸少数民族教育、民族文化与艺术等方面的交流与合作而进行的。
在此次交流过程中，处处体现出浓郁的中华民族是一家，心心相印，血浓于水的亲情。另外，此活动还展示了我们学校的办学水平，展现了艺术团师生的团结互助，奋勇拼搏的精神。
这次活动在海峡两岸引起了强烈反响，收到了很好的社会效果，进一步塑造了我校的品牌形象，为祖国统一大业作出了贡献。
November 6th to 17th 2006, my school party committee secretary ××× will lead the art performance group to Taiwan for an exchange visit, detouring the island of Taiwan for a week. Along the way they were well received with a warm reception by the friendly Taiwanese and people of various races. Both sides shared a mutual sincere exchange. The exchange visit was a complete success.
This activity was to implement and carry out the new proposal of the General Secretary Hu Jin Tao which was to develop relations between the two banks according to the consitution based on four principles, to deepen the mutual understanding betwen the people from both banks, to promote friendship among each other, to promote education incoperation with the cultural and art teaching for the minority races of both banks.
