什么是继承人（Heir）

继承人是指依法继承财产的人，分为法定继承人和遗嘱继承人。前者指依法的当然继承人，后者指被继承人所指定的继承人。各国法律对法定继承人的范围规定不同。中国法律规定的继承人为：配偶、子女、父母、兄弟姐妹、祖父母与外祖父母；孙子女与外孙子女；有抚养关系的继父母与继子女；丧偶的儿媳与公婆、女婿与岳父母之间存在着抚养关系的人。胎儿也可充当继承人。法人（包括国家）虽然可以取得遗产，但一般不列为继承人。
