What's the different between "try to do" and "try doing"?

try to do 表示试图做某事，想办法做某事，利用一些方法途径。
eg:I tried to solve the maths problem,but still failed.
我试图解除这道数学题，但还是失败了。
try doing表示尝试做某事，就是试着做做看的意思。
eg:Let me try persuading him.
让我试试说服他。

try to do 是努力做某事
比如：You should try to study hard.你应该努力学习。

try doing 是尝试做某事
比如：If you can't enter the room,try using this key.如果你进不了房间，可以试试看用这把钥匙。

根本都没try doing这个用法
