lavish和squander的区别？

lavish:慷慨;过度,过多
squander:浪费
它们类似的地方是"太多了",但LAVISH较中性,SQUANDER则有点贬义.

lavish 更强调慷慨无私的给予，其形容词性的意思就是十分慷慨very generous
to give someone or something a lot of love, praise, money etc.

lavish something on/upon somebody

squander 更侧重无意义的浪费时间金钱和机会
to carelessly waste money, time, opportunities etc:
