如何理解present在此句中的意思???

1.He is presented as the more suitable candidate for this position.
他更适合这个职位.

如果present当"呈现,表现"讲,为什么不是He presents as而一定是He is presented,如何理解present的用法.

2.He has presented very confidently in the interview.
他在面试中表现的很自信.

同上,若present当"表现"讲,为什么又不用He is presented或has been presented而要用主动语态呢?

1. 介绍某人 可以用 introduce 和 present，present 有介绍的意思，但是强调“正式”的介绍。“正式”跟职位、场合、人物都有关系，要看你自己是不是觉得应该“正式”的去介绍。 例如：如果你想把你的未婚夫介绍给别人，如果你认为这是一件很正式的事情，给足你未婚夫面子，就应该用present you fiance to sb, 否则就用 introduce 也行。显然在第一句，你看到present，潜意识就是作者认为这是一件很正式的事情。

2. 这里 present 当表现讲，不当介绍讲，当然用主动语态。没有第一句的误解，这句没什么问题了。

第一句的从字面上应翻译为：他被介绍为是更适合这个职位的候选人。
present 在这里是动词“介绍；引见；举荐”的意思。
