My hometown--Xiamen
Xiamen, on the southeastern coast of China, to the west of Taiwan Strait, covers a total area of 1,569.3 square kilometers and has a registered household population of 1.58 million at the end of 2005 and a permanent population of about 2.25 million. Under the jurisdiction of the municipality are six districts Siming, Huli, Jimei, Haicang, Tong'an and Xiang'an.
