本文着重论讨影响中学生听力的基本因素，并尝试性地提出解决中学生英语听力困难的几条途径。
影响听力的若干因素及如何影响中学生
一、知识因素
英语听力理解的重要因素之一就是学习者已有的知识结构，这个知识结构从听力教学的角度分析，可分为三类：一是学习者拥有的母语水平。二是学习者已有的英语基础知识。三是学习者拥有的各种科学和人文知识。学习者已经掌握的母语知识，对英语学习有着十分重要的影响。它即可阻碍其它语言的学习，也可促进对其他语言的掌握。一般地讲，当把两种语言之间的共同规律和差异进行详细分析比较找出可以遵守的共同规律后，便对学习起促进作用。学习者已有的英语基础知识包括学生已掌握了的英语语法、语音、词汇等。这些知识掌握的多少，在很大程度上影响着听力理解。其他的各种科学和人文知识也影响着听力理解。
The aim of the middle school education is that let the students acquire the basic knowleage of English through the practice of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Among them, the most important thing is the listening practice.It is the base of the other three skills, that is, reading, speaking and reading. On one hand, one can get the language information and the language feelings through the listening, which is the basic thinf in ENglish. On the other hand, Listening comprehension is the previous thing of the communication. If you cannot master the listening skill, you will not fullfill the process of commui=nication, in this way, you can not really master and use English.
