说明一下so that和such that的区别

so+adj/adv
such+n
for example:It is so cold that I get sick
It is such a nice apple that I eat it.
pay attention to these exmaples:
John has so little money that he can'tbuy the bike.(LITTLE表数量）
They were such little fish that they couldn't keep the cat full.（LITTLE表体积大小）

so +adj+a/an+n(count)+that=such a/an +adj+n(count)+that
such+adj+ns/n(uncount)+that
for example:
She is so good a teacher that we all admire her.=She is such a good teacher that we all admire her.
It was such terrible weather that we had to stay at home all day.
Thery are such nice apples that we would like to have some.

so...that与such…that的意思和句法作用相同，但是因为so（adv．）和such（adj．）的词类不同，所以so...that和 such...that的句子结构也不同。试比较：

so+adj．／adv．+that clause（so后跟形容词或副词）

such（a／an）+n．+that clause（such后跟名词）
