16 索赔
货物到达目的港口后买方需向中国（进出口）商品检查局（以下简称检查局）申请对货物的质量，品质，重量进行基本检查。如果发现货物重量方面的品质出现不符（与合同），检查局将出具检查报告。除非责任由保险公司乘保或由海运公司负责，其他情况下（的货物不符）买方可凭据检查局出具的检查结果向卖方提出索赔，替换费用由卖方承担。
17 延迟交货及赔偿
除非由不可抗力（参见“不可抗力（原因）”合同条款）造成的延迟交货，如果卖方（由于其他原因）未能按合同规定时间交货，卖方如同意以七天为单位向卖方收取未准时交付货物价值5%的赔偿则买方可同意延迟交货，赔偿总额不得超过合同总额的5%。
