postulate和assume的区别？

假设,假装,设想. (可以和pretend互用,动词)
postulate
假定,要求.(一般用于有先决条件时的假定,作为动词它在口语中不常用
它还有名词的词义:先决条件,基本原理)

注:postulate 的名词postulation(假设，假定）很常用＝assumption
eg: your postulation is nonsense!!
