1. speak clearly, making sure people can understand what you are saying.

2. When going through the names of people/places, speak slower... Explain the meanings of the names where possible and if the names prove to be interesting. e.g.: 贵阳：Precious sunlight. Because this place rarely receives sunlight...

3. Do not assume the tourists do not understand Chinese and speak bad behind their backs. And make sure you truly understand what they are asking you.

These few points are what I expect (at the very least), as a tourist.
