include 包括（包括的一般为可以分开的部分）
involve 卷入，拖累之意
contain 包含（一般为溶解其中的东西或成分，一般不可见，如啤酒中含有酒精）
comprise “包含，由……构成”，谓语用复数；contain “包含，容纳”，它的宾语只是整体的一部分，如：The book contains five photos；

compose “构成”，表示许多部分构成一个整体，一般用被动；

consist与compose同义，但不用被动，即consist of = be composed of，如：Water is composed of (= consists of) hydrogen and oxygen.
