The thesis reviews on the development of the internal control theory in the recent twenty years both in china and abroad, its researches by Basel Committee, as well as the progress of the commercial banks’ internal control. On the bases of the reviews and analysis, it investigates the issues of the commercial banks’ internal control on its essence, intension, aim, and theory, together with the status and problems of commercial banks’ internal control in China.
