In the older times, oppurtunities were so much better than nowadays, one did not need to be educated to get rich. But the quote is quite true in the modern world. People look at your education degree before they look at you. They would determine what a person is worth based on the amount of education they have recieved. This is quite stupid and unfair, but that's the way societies are. There are people who could buy their way into getting good diplomas and there are the ones who could not afford to go to school. Therefore one could not be judged entirely by their degree in education.
