2. Procedure for Review and Evaluation for Merit

The basis for merit raises shall be the annual evaluation. The provost shall approve the procedure for this review with input from the Faculty Senate.

All evaluations of meritorious and highly meritorious performance within the three preceding years during which merit raises were not available will be considered in the determination of merit raises in years when merit awards are made.
