currently, more often than not, a student's ability is judged upon his or her grades. however, the student's moral values and latent potential are not reflected in their grades. Examinations tests at best what is taught in class, and what students normally do are memorise without understanding. This tests their memory ability and not what they are able of performing.

take a few renowned persons for example, Edison wasn't the best student in class, but he was the greatest inventor of the century. Bill Gates dropped out of school, but he was the richest man on earth. Both had succeeded in their field, both are not suited for the examination orientated culture. Now, who is to say that the worst graded student won't be the next successful person to be?
