两句的文法也不对，应是

What is the date today?
今天是什么日子？

e.g. I want you to do the work.

这两句都是错句。应该是What date is today?
What is the date today?意思都是 今天是几号？
tell sb to do sth. 是指 告诉某人做某事

1.今天星期几？What day of the week is it today?
2.今天几号？What is the date today?
3.让某人去做某事 tell sb. to do sth.

1.今天星期几？
2.今天几号？
告诉某人去做某事

两个病句哦~
