本篇文章在对当前中小企业员工激励机制背景认知的基础上，首先通过对中小企业员工激励机制现状进行分析，从而对中小企业激励机制所处的现状有了更深入的认识；其次，通过对山东世纪天鸿书业为代表的中小企业激励机制的研究，揭示了其成功点和存在的问题。基于此，从激励理论的角度出发，设计了员工工作满意度调查问卷，对山东世纪天鸿书业为典型代表的中小企业进行问卷调查与访谈调查，并对问卷调查结果进行了实证分析，找出员工激励机制问题所在；最后，根据存在的问题制定出了相应的调整策略，使其能够更大程度地吸引人才，激励员工，从而形成一套良好的激励机制，增强以其为代表的中小企业的综合竞争力。
通过对中小企业员工激励机制的分析，可以看出在经济高速发展的形势下，中小企业通过制定并执行有效的员工激励机制，才能吸引人才，充分发挥员工的工作积极性和创造性，才能使本企业立于必败之地。
