1. Introduction
In recent decades, the properties of physical
mixtures of polypropylene (PP)/polyamide-6
(PA6), have been studied because the poor interfacial
adhesion and tension between the dispersed
and continuous phases. In most of the published
papers, the enhancement in the compatibilization
of mixtures was changed with the addition of a
compatibilizer agent. Ide [1] studied the addition
of maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, and
Ohlsson [2] analyzed the addition of polystyreneblock-
poly(ethylene-stat butylenes)-block-polyestyrene
(SEBBS), in the compatibilization of
PA6/PP blends. The radiation effects on low density
polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate
(EVA) blends were studied by Sharif [3] and
the improvement on gel content and mechanical
