1,we ought to have got there earilier"ought to have done sth本应该做而没有做的事情。
2.the computer,which is a 20th certury invention,....此处为which引导的非限制性定语从句，相当于一个插入语的作用。

went to 应该是reached，前者只是到……去，而后者才表示到达。
get 应该是have got，这是虚拟语气，“我们本可以早点到”

另外麻烦2楼解释清楚为什么要用延续性动词？
