应该用whom,这是一个非限定性的定语从句，如果用them的话，就是并列句，要在两个句子间加上and, 或者把逗号改为分号或句号。
He has five brothers,three of (them )are now studyng in the states.
如果前面是句号的话用them就可以了．这样的话他就是一个句子，一个句子只能有一个谓语．
这句想同时表达两个意思,而没用AND
考试应该不会这样考吧
