据调查，我国大部分中学生和父母之间不常沟通，甚至从未有过，有的中学生因此自我封闭，成绩直线退步。这与我国的家庭教育的种种弊端是息息向关的。在我国的家庭教育具体体现为以下几个特点：
.生活上的包办代替 .社交上的过度保护 经济上的放任 学习上的过于严厉.而忽略与子女的沟通。
而在美国 或是一些欧洲国家 家长往往是拿出时间跟孩子以平等的态度进行沟通、交流，对孩子正确的想法和行为给予充分肯定，让孩子在尊重和鼓励中成长。
由于教育方法的不同，其教育结果也表现出明显不同。美国孩子从小就表现出很强的独立生活能力，这体现在：(1)具有很强的自立能力。绝大多数18岁以上的孩子，都靠自己挣钱来读书。 (2)具有适应市场经济的头脑。 (3)具有适应社会环境的本领。由于从小的艰苦磨炼，美国孩子更能吃苦，具有战胜困难的勇气和毅力。这些素质和技能，为他们将来走向社会奠定了坚实的基础。
而作为子女的我们 如何解决面临的问题呢？
我对此有几点建议和看法：
1、互相寻找沟通的机会，随机寻找谈话的内容（主题）。
2、互相理解，处事对人心平气和。
3、多体谅父母的难处，多想想他们的优点。
4无论多忙，都要抽空关心对方。
5、适当在一起做一些事情，
例如：外出游玩、一起下厨、一起购物等，调近彼此间的距离。
6、烦恼时主动找父母倾诉，反之，父母烦恼时应极乐意当个忠实聆听者。
总之，很多问题需要我们与父母的共同努力才能完成。我们只要学会倾听和沟通，相信一切问题都能迎刃而解。
