一方面，科学教育通过“善意的扭曲”使学生坚实的扎根于当前科学范式（scientific paradigm）之中，获得日后学习和研究知识基础和精神定向（mental sets）；另一方面，真实的科学并不总是如常规科学教育（normal science education）所展现的那样：线性、累积。就科学的个体发展而言，是尝试与清除错误的过程；就科学的整体发展而言，是新旧范式的格式塔（gestalt）转换。科学教育需要在常规科学教育和真实科学教育之间保持一种必要的张力（essential tension）。

One hand is that science education make students take stable root in current scientific paradigm through "well-meaning twist"，then they can obtain the base and mental sets for the future knowledge studys and research.
on the other hand,real science will not always be what the normal science education reveals:linearity、accumulate.To the individual development of science,it is period of attempting and clearing mistakes；to the whole development,it's gestalt transition between newly&former model.Science education need to maintain an essential tension between general's and real's.
