通过在该公司的实习，我初步了解了相关业务知识。在实践中，结合所学知识与国际贸易实践，认为该公司有下列不足之处：1）外贸企业人浮于事、冗员偏多，部分人员对国际法律，进出口条款及业务流程不熟悉；
2）缺乏高素质人才，又缺乏留住人才、让人才充分发挥作用的制度。该公司的经营管理人员有不少是按行政途径调入的，并不十分了解外贸业务，许多经营管理人员甚至不懂英语，更不用说用英语与国外同行交流、谈判。现有的业务员大多数是从大学国贸系毕业后进入的，虽懂英语和国际贸易业务，但不懂得相关的生产技术。 更严重的是，由于公司内部经营管理和分配机制不合理，加上离退休人员多、原有的负担过于沉重，致使一些贡献较大的业务人员的正当报酬没有得到应有的体现，这就出现了一些拿到大额国外订单的业务人员离开企业、带走订单、自行创办外贸公司的现象，造成了经营资源和经济效益的巨大损失，损害了公司的进一步发展。
